Honest thoughts after a week of playing
One-line rescue: draw a continuous line to save trapped characters. Simple concept, but there’s this maddening constraint: you can’t cross the same cell twice, and sometimes you need a huge detour to save enough people. One level took me almost twenty minutes. I tried seven or eight paths, all one square short. One square! You know that feeling? The line is perfect, every cell covered, and the exit is one square away. I almost threw my phone on the couch. Switched to a completely different route, five extra squares—and it worked. This game taught me: shortcuts don’t always get you there faster.
