Run an old-town inn. I had expectations for this one because Ian told me it was his first complete game. Honestly, the UI was rougher than I expected—but after thirty minutes I completely stopped caring. Because the upgrade curve is just right: every time you think “is that all?” it unlocks something new. One time I waited almost ten minutes for gold to pile up just to unlock a VIP room. When it unlocked, I screenshotted it and sent it to Ian. He replied with [handshake]. That moment was weirdly heartwarming.
